I wanted it to go on forever and have given it to many people who agree reading it is fantastic. The stories can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. Each story had it's own feel and identity; the twists were a surprise; and the writing was outstanding. You can bet I'll read the other 5 and when I'm done, I'll really enjoy picking this book back up and reading the epilogue where the whole family meets at a summer gathering.
