Inspired, in part, by a true story, Rain Shadow offers a compelling and tender look into the healing power of the human-animal bond. The photographs are superb as well. But most importantly, he is able to take that mountain of scientific data and divine the practical and simple direction it is pointing to in terms of advancing human health and fitness. I would have liked to call some of these characters my friends. An underlying aspect of this new revolution is the sense that humanity is moving into a new era of rapidly expanding knowledge of the human spirit (our soul aspect) and non-physical realities. Will the ugly duckling ever find a friend. Looking forward to start reading it and I know I will not be disappointed. I have also examined an original printing of the 2nd Edition from 1878 and it is superior to the 1st Edition but, as I said, the paper quality is poor and badly deteriorating.
